Dodgers beat the New York Mets 4-2 for his fifth straight win and a team-leading 12th this season. It was the Dodgers' seventh straight victory.

Ryu gave up just one run in seven innings while three strike out and walking one, raised his ERA to 2.91. The result keeps him in contention for this year’s National League Rookie of the Year award.

Dodgers took all the victory during 10 games.

Dodgers marked their 10^th consecutive victory. It is amazing that they took 19^th victory in their last 20 road games. 25 wins and 3 loses since the All star break.

First pitcher, Kershaw threw eight innings without losing any points. Also, he hit a ball on his second at bat and scored. He lowered his ERA(earned- run average) to 1.80 and raised his record to 12 wins and 7 lose.

In the spring camp in Dodgers, Dodger’s coach Don mattingly had expectation of first pitchers in Dodgers. However, beginning of season Dodger’s pitchers didn’t do really good.

Recently, Dodgers pitchers are untouchable. In 8/18 game, Dodgers win against Philadelphia Phillies(4-0) Zack Greinke throw 7 inning with 3 hits 3 strike lose no points. During august, Zack Greinke throws in 3 games 3wins 20 innings with no points.

Dodger had win again at Saturday, 5-0 of the Rays at Dodger stadium. After the game, Dodgers coach Don Mattingly said “If you ask me how you do it, you do it by getting the starting pitching we're getting. Our starting pitching gives us a chance every day,"

Zack Greinke was the first pitcher on the mound. He pitched 6 innings with no score. It was his 10^th win of the season. He has seven consecutive quality starts(starting pitcher defined as a game in which the pitcher completes at least six innings and permits no more than three earned runs) and a 1.66 ERA. LA Dodgers have won nine of his last game.Beside Zack Greinke’s good pitching, Dodgers bullpen had great pitching with 2 and 2/3 inning by Two bullpen pitcher(J.P Howell and Chris Withrow)

LA dodgers win 14th straight on road

Recently, the LA dodgers seems they know how to win. They are staying at first place and becoming undefeated(32 wins and 7 loses in last 39games) in National league. However their beginning of this season was horrible. LA dodgers once lose 8^th straight in the game. At that time LA dodgers were placed at the last in the nation league. It seems to change after few players starting to play good again

At the beginning of the game, La dodgers looked hard to win Cubs because pitcher Zack Greinke and rookie Yasiel Puig were injured. Due to Zack injuring, the starting pitcher was changed to Stephen Fide.(Sixth inning pitched with no score). In the other hand A.J Ellis hit a single home run and win the Chicago Cubs on Sunday

Dodgers haven’t lost on the road since July 6 in San Francisco. The NL record for consecutive road wins in 17(New York Giant in 1916) The last team to win 14 straight road games was the Detroit tigers in 1984. Also Dodgers swept the cubs in a series of four games. The Cubs had hard time playing with Dodgers. They haven’t scored for 23 straight innings.

LA dodjers looks like they are having great season. Currently they are in first place in western national league. However, their beginning of season was terrible. They loosed 10 games in a row and there rank was at the last. However there was rookie who had saved La Dodgers.

Yasiel Puig is born 1990 at Cuba. He is outfielder for the LA dodgers. He is rookie but doing really good on this season. When he first played in MLB, it was sensation. In his second game, he hit two home run. He became the first dodger player who had hit multi-homerun in first two appearances. Also Puig made history to record 34 hits and seven home runs in his first 20 games.

Clayton Kershaw was born 1988. He is a left hand pitcher for the LA Dodgers. Je was drafted seventh overall in the 2006 MLB Draft. When he played in 2008, he was the youngest player in MLB. In 2011, he won the pitching triple crown and the Nation League Cy young award (Award that given to best pitcher in the season)
